Design Features:
1. Strainers are available with threaded (NPT/BSP/BSPT) or socket weld inlet/outlet connections.
2. Strainer body meets applicable ASME Standard..

5. Upper and lower machined seats.

8. Generous screen area and properly proportioned straining chamber to minimize initial pressure drop while maximizing time between cleanings.
Service Considerations:
1. For maximum protection, collected material must be discharged through the blow-off connection on a routine basis.
2. A permanent blow-down line and Ball Valve with each strainer will result in simplified cleaning.
3. Install horizontally or vertically with dirt collecting inside the screen.
4. Screen can also be removed and cleaned with solvent and compressed air.
5. Inspect the gasket and replace if necessary when replacing the screen.
